Arthroscopy Show and Tell

... as explained to me by my surgeon ...

To be honest, this is all pretty mind-boggling. 

And I've done some pretty cool stuff in grad school, so it takes a lot to boggle my mind. :)

(It blows my mind imagining surgical tools getting stuffed through a relatively small incision.)

I think this is anchor going in, but don't quote me on it.

I'll just have to trust you on this one. No idea what's going on here!

And there is the hour-long surgery explained to me in two minutes.

I'm sure there are serious gaps between what my surgeon actually told me and what I retained,

but if it were that easy to comprehend, there would be a lot more orthopedic surgeons in the world. :)
